Crail harbour beach is two minutes walk from the apartment, down the ‘Hens Ladder’ path. It’s tempting to take a picnic and have a lazy day on the sandy harbour beach.

Only fifteen minutes drive from St Andrews and an hour and a half from Edinburgh, Crail makes a great base for a holiday or short break. There are several major golf courses are in the area, St Andrews, Kingsbarns and of course Crail’s own ‘Golfing Society’ with two courses.

Crail has a Festival during the last fortnight of July with many events and activities for both adults and children.

The East Neuk Festival, a music festival in late June, has many performances held in Crail.
